Terms and Conditions

Please ensure that you carefully read and fully understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Any reservation made with Canadian Cruise Connection constitutes as a binding agreement signifying your acceptance of, and your agreement to follow, these Terms & Conditions, and to be bound by them.
It is Canadian Cruise Connections obligation towards the traveller to make a reservation with the supplier and issue the payment for the service when due, prior to the traveller’s arrival.
Traveller Responsibility
You, the traveller, attest that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. You also confirm that all information supplied by you, members of your family and/or fellow travellers is true and accurate.
By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. You are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your travel booking, notifying your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.
By booking on behalf of another person or persons, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and the tour operator will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.

Travellers must provide their full name EXACTLY as it appears on your passport. Failure to provide exact names or birth dates will result in a per person change fee in addition to any change fees assessed by the tour operator or airline.
It is the traveller’s responsibility to verify their fitness to travel, in regards to pregnancy, health, criminal past, citizenship, passport, and visas. Any information given by Canadian Cruise Connection is advice only and it is the travellers responsibility to complete their due diligence to assure proper documentation is obtained prior to travel. Any penalties incurred due to lack of fitness to travel or documentation is the full responsibility of the traveller.
Travel Documents
It is your responsibility to enquire on, and obtain, all required travel documents. Canadian Cruise Connection is not liable for any and all consequences of inappropriate or missing travel documents.
A valid Canadian passport is mandatory for all travel outside Canada. Some countries require that your passport be valid for six months beyond the date of your return to Canada. Canadian citizens born in certain countries may require a visa in addition to a valid passport. A permanent resident card will be required for permanent residents/landed immigrants who are not Canadian citizens.

One (1) parent traveling with a child under age 18 may have to obtain a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent not traveling. Customers are responsible for checking which documents are required, and then making certain that they have the necessary documents in hand prior to departure. Customers failing to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities, without further recourse or the possibility of a refund. Entry into another country may also be refused to a customer even if he or she has the required travel documents. Check local laws and regulations for all countries on your itineraries to ensure you are authorized to travel. Many foreign governments will deny entry for past federal, provincial, or local criminal actions – including but not limited to: drug convictions, owed child support, DUI, domestic violence, predatory behaviour, or any felony arrest history. Canadian Cruise Connection is not responsible for clients who are denied entry to countries if you are unable to enter. Canadian Cruise Connection is not responsible or liable for any costs associated with being unable to enter a country and return home.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you purchase travel protection to provide cancellation and interruption coverage as well as emergency medical expenses, emergency medical transportation, lost or damaged baggage, and more.
Canadian Cruise Connection offers Medical and Travel Insurance for purchase by residents of Canada through Alianz or Manulife. You acknowledge that Canadian Cruise Connection makes this insurance available in good faith and that you are fully responsible for your decisions in regard to travel insurance (e.g., taking out comprehensive coverage, or purchasing no insurance at all).
Pricing & Payments
All prices, unless otherwise stated, are in Canadian dollars and include all applicable taxes and fees. As Canadian Cruise Connection is a TICO-registered travel agency in the province of Ontario, in accordance with applicable regulations, where there is an increase of more than seven per cent (7%) in the price of services after a deposit has been made, and such price increase does not result from an increase in government taxes or a fuel surcharge allowed by the Canadian Transportation Agency, the customer has the right to cancel and receive a full refund.
Price quotes for your trip are applicable at the date and time when they are requested. This pricing may fluctuate due to your change of plans and/or foreign exchange rates. No reservations are made and are subject to availability until time of booking. Inventory and rates are always changing. Quoted prices are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid. You are responsible to ensure payments are made by all payment deadlines to secure quotes rate.
Residents of Canada and the United States of America may pay on-line or by telephone using Visa, American Express or MasterCard credit cards. You agree to comply with booking terms and conditions whether or not you have manually signed an invoice or receipt. Verbal authorization for the use of a credit card confirms the reservation.
Changes / Cancellation Fees
Once you reserve your tour, changes are possible, subject to availability at the time of your request. Requests for deviations, dates, changes in class of service, cancellations, and corrections are subject to applicable fees incurred by the supplier and Canadian Cruise Connection. You will be advised of any additional charges before Canadian Cruise Connection makes the final booking. Canadian Cruise Connection requires all changes to be made in writing via email. No changes will be made without written consent.
Fee Structure

Cancellation Fees: All trip and insurance cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee per person. This will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. This includes all bookings; cruise, land tour, hotels, insurance and flights.

Booking Modification: All booking modifications (on an existing booking), including new dates, or ship are subject to a $50 per person change fee. This will automatically be charged to the credit card on file.

Name and Birthdate Changes: Corrections to names or birthdates as a result of the failure of the traveller to provide the exact information as on passports, are subject to a $50 per person change fee in addition to any change fees assessed by the tour operator or airlines.
Force Majeure
Unforeseen events may be forces by “force majeure: to change or terminate your trip after departure but before the scheduled end of your time away. If this situation does occur, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any refunds from our suppliers), pay you any compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.
“Force majeure” means any event which us or the supplier of the service(s) could not foresee nor avoid. Neither Party will be liable for any failure or delaying performing an obligation that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: act of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalizes lack of availability of raw materials or energy.
Liability
You acknowledge that Canadian Cruise Connection acts as a middle-person between you and cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and other service/product providers selected by you. Consequently, Canadian Cruise Connection cannot be held liable towards you or your fellow travellers for the services rendered, and/or the products offered, by such third party providers. Canadian Cruise Connection shall not be liable and assumes no risk for the obligations, or any default or negligence, of third-party providers and for any damages including, among other things, damages due to delay, cancellation, loss of goods, sickness, injury, accident, quality of services, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, acts of God or force majeure.
Outside of Canada, living standards and local practices, as well as conditions with respect to the provision of services and accommodation, may differ from those to which you are accustomed in Canada.

Flight times, even as they appear on airline tickets, are subject to change due to various circumstances over which the air carrier nor Canadian Cruise Connection has no control. Any customer who has purchased a flight through Canadian Cruise Connection is entirely responsible for verifying the time of flights with the air carrier within the 24-hour period preceding the outbound and return flights. Failure to check-in and board on time may result in the cancellation of a customer’s flight reservation with no right of recourse or refund.
